This Yunnan red tea is great any time of day. The leaves constitute a good blend of leaf and curling golden buds, which combine to create a full bodied and flavorful cup. The taste is strong without being astringent and has a lovely aroma of earth and cedar wood. Excellent on its own or with the addition of milk and sugar for those who enjoy a good breakfast tea.

Harvest: 2024
• Standard OP black tea with some golden tips
• Smooth and comforting
• Good in a gaiwan or steeped as a breakfast tea
• Notes of warm cedarwood and no astringency
• 5g tea per 8oz. water
• Steep 15-20 seconds in boiling water
• Re-steep for 10 seconds, 3-4 times. Then lengthen the steeps to extract more flavor.
This tea is best steeped in a gaiwan
Use these recommendations for steeping in a western teapot, or when only 1 steep is desired.
• 3g tea per 6oz. water
• Steep 3-5 minutes in boiling water (longer if you plan to add milk or sugar)
• Re-steep one more time for 2-3 minutes (if desired)
